Levaquin is an oral drug used to treat wide range of bacterial infections in the body, such as sinuses, skin infections, lungs infections, various infections of ears, bones and joints, as well as prostatitis. It can be used in other cases not mentioned here, as prescribed by a doctor.

How Taken
Consult your doctor and read carefully the leaflet attached to the drug about the terms of the drug use and possible side effects. You should take the drug strictly as prescribed by a doctor. Take the pill with a full glass of water. You should take the pill at least 1 hour before and 2 hours after having a meal. Don’t crush or chew the pill before swallowing. Drink more fluid during the course of treatment (about 2 liters daily). Leave a 2-hours period between taking Levaquin and any vitamin or mineral supplements and antacids, as they’ll prevent Levaquin components from absorbing. Ask your doctor about possible drug interactions.
